Read the email from a guest and answer the questions.
Dear Reception,
I have a reservation for two nights from 12 to 14 October (booking ref. 48211). Unfortunately my flight has been changed and I will now arrive on the 13th. Could you please change my booking to one night only and confirm the new price? I would also like to know if breakfast is included and whether you have a late check-in option, as my flight lands at 22:40.
Kind regards,
Laura Bennett

Team, tonight we have a table of 12 at 8 pm (birthday, they have pre-ordered the set menu). Table 6 has a guest with a nut allergy — please check every dish with the kitchen before serving. The special is grilled sea bass; we are out of the lamb. Two servers on the terrace, one on the bar. Remember to upsell the dessert wine. Last orders at 10:30.
4. What must servers do for table 6?
5. Which dish is not available tonight?
6. When are last orders?
A guest comes to the reception desk.
"I booked a quiet room, but I've been woken up twice tonight by the lift next door. I'm here for a conference and I really need to sleep. What can you do?"
7. What is the guest's main problem?
8. Writing. What would you say to the guest? Write 3–4 sentences: apologise and offer a solution.
0 wordsListen to the check-in conversation. You can play it twice.
